YouTube New Video Editor “It Is Time For Something Cool!!”

youtube logoIt’s YouTube time to introduce an interesting feature, according to Google-System YouTube has launched a new video editor that lets users create videos using excerpts from the videos they’ve already uploaded. Besides they can also add a music file from the AudioSwap library.
This new video editor is really geared towards individuals who are taking video on a Flip camera or on their smartphones. Editing footage from one of these devices can be a time consuming process to make even just a few simple edits. Oftentimes it’s just easier to upload the video directly to YouTube.

While editing the footage directly in the browser makes the process much faster and can fit in with workflows that might not always include a computer that is capable of running and has access to desktop software. With the New Youtube video editor you can now loop a few movie clips together and trim the intro or outro of this movie.

Here are some videos created using YouTube’s new video editor.

Personally I like the new editor…What about you???

Twitter World Cup 2010 Be Part Of The Action

South Africa 2010 World Cup Logo

South Africa 2010 World Cup Logo

My previous post was “Facebook World Cup 2010 Be Part Of The ActionNow it’s Twitter time “Twitter World Cup 2010 Be Part Of The Action”…
For Both Twitter and Football lovers here are a few tips for how to follow the World Cup on Twitter complete with a list of who you should be following to stay informed on the games, news, and goings on in South Africa.

1) World Cup 2010 “What’s Happing Have you noticed the small football icon at the top right of your twitter home page or at Twitter login page..Did you click it??? If not do it and be updated with The World Cup 2010 News and Top Tweets 😉

Twitter World Cup 2010 What's Happening Page

Twitter World Cup 2010 What's Happening Page

2) Hashtags and Searches

Here some Hashtags which are very useful:

#worldcup: it seems to be the largest tag by volume of tweets, but #wc2010 is also doing the rounds,  also #2010worldcup. Don’t forget, however, that the World Cup is a global event, so different languages also should be considered. In Spanish, World Cup is “Copa Mundial,” in French it’s “Coupe du Monde,” and so on.

Other tags have, of course, sprung up around teams. #England used for England team, while United States team can be found under the tag #USMNT

Use save a search on Twitter To quickly access a stream of tweets containing a certain hashtag, so that the results are just a click away from your home page — and the search can be easily removed after it’s no longer relevant.

3) Lists

Follow ready-made lists. There’s a Top Tweets account direct from Twitter that algorithmically selects the “top tweets” about the World Cup. Simply follow the list and then you can unfollow it after the final.

While  if you’re just interested in the big headlines, TweetMeme’s World Cup 2010 aggregated feed of popular tweets might be of interest.

Finally, here a great list where you’ll find the news you are looking for:
